What’s that, you say? Why, that’s a 30 foot piece of Raymond James Stadium that decided it didn’t want to stay in place anymore. According to the article in the St. Petersburg Times “the repairs will cost an estimated $500,000 to $600,000, and will fall to taxpayers.” That’s right, boys and girls, the Glazerdome has a boo boo and the taxpaying residents of Tampa are the ones that have to pony up the dinero to fix it. Meanwhile Malcom and Co. are over in Manchester buying soccer teams with all the money they got from ticket sales at the stadium that you all paid for.
Oh, and the stadium is only 8 years old. The Big Sombrero HAD to go, though. It was getting old and starting to show some wear.
Guess it’s about time we start building another one then, huh?
