So this morning I decided to take the plunge to Digital Phone service. Here’s the deal. I’m currently paying $31.95 a month for standard cable, and about $80 a month for my phone service (I have a package deal that includes unlimited long distance and all the bells and whistles). My new cable bill is going to be $91.90 (without my broadband service, which is not currently eligible for a pacakage deal because I have business class) and will not only include all that I currently have, but will also add a DVR and Digital Cable.

Now I just have to decide if we’re going to put the DVR with access to the extra channels in the living room or the bedroom. I’m leaning towards the bedroom, personally.
