I just did a vanity search and ended up finding all of the reviews of Maxwell on Joe Popp’s web site.

It made me think.

Most of the problems that they mentioned in the reviews I would personally attribute to the fact that we had a really short rehearsal run and no musical director (Joe could only make it to one, and it helped a lot…but we needed more than one).

I wonder what would happen if we did it again with a bigger budget, a live band, and a musical director.

Hrm.

Would be interesting.
