There are going to be lots of “Beam me up, Scotty” references made in the next few days.
Damnit.
We knew it was coming, but it still sucks.

Is being generous too good for business?
What a bunch of asshats.
“He has been too benevolent,” (Kozloff) said. “He’s right that a happy employee is a productive long-term employee, but he could force employees to pick up a little more of the burden.”
Yeah, let’s fault a guy for making his company somplace that people acutally WANT TO WORK AT.
Asshats!
You know someone is dissapointed in a book when they stay up late to finish it…and then stay up even later to start reading another book and “cleanse the palette” as it were.
Damn.
The little cans of wasabi peas they sell at Wal-Mart are gone too fast.
Now I am sad.
Despite what you may personally think of President Bush and his mental facilities, never delude yourself into thinking he is not a shrewed politician. When this thing with the CIA agent first broke he and his spokespeople were very clear in stating that if anyone in the administration released the name of a CIA agent they would be fired. Rove didn’t say her name, and you can’t tell me that Bush didn’t know about his involvement when this all first started. Now? He’s stating that if someone committed a crime they would be fired.
Rove didn’t actually say her name, and from what I’ve heard the special prosecutor isn’t planning on pressing charges.
Thus, Rove isn’t going anywhere and Bush is going to continue doing whatever the hell he wants with a self righteous smirk on his face.
Read this on digitaldevil‘s journal, who got it from….(you know the routine)
Some of this was actually kind of painful to read. But damn if it isn’t true.
Can I please have just one day where my neck doesn’t hurt from stress?
Just one?
Thanks,
Me.
And while there is no spoiler per se here, I’ll cut it just in case there are those of you who have managed to avoid hearing absolutely anything about the new book.
