Seriously, though…I hope you guys have a fantastic time and that Frances doesn’t literally rain on your parade. Take a moment to toast me while you party this year, and rest assured that I’ll be there in full effect (with the lovely netgoth in tow) next year.

I have just one thing to say at this point.

There are a lot of people out there who JUST got their power back recently. I cannot fathom how worried they must be right now that it’s going to happen again.

So for them, I’ve got all my “storm go away” mojo in full force.

Six more GMail invites!

The novelty of this is beginning to wear off, methinks. I actually saw someone refer to Google as an evil empire the other day (in a community where people were frequently posting that they had GMail invites). WTF? What is it with Internet snobs? The minute a company becomes sucessfull it’s an evil empire? It’s like the only way you are good is if you are open source and never make a profit.

Feeling maas uber better today. Might even stop taking the pain meds. I’m not really a big fan of drugs to begin with, so taking them all this week hasn’t really been too thrilling to me. I’m looking forward to my life getting back to “normal” again, though. Well, as normal as my life ever gets, anyway. I’m not sure if it’s safe for me to go back to walking every day or not. I cant’ see why it wouldn’t be, but I’m not doctor. It doesn’t say on my sheet that I shouldn’t.

Ahh, the complexities of life.

Ok, gotta focus on work. It’s the first, so big tasks today. You kids stay frosty.

Hey gang…going to see my Doctor today at 4. Slept from about 8 last night until 5 this morning and stayed up long enough to eat and browse the net a bit, then I was back in bed until noon. Feeling ok at the moment, but I’ve wavered back and forth between ok and blah a lot in the last few days. The nurse says that sometimes it takes longer for people to recover from surgery. Considering this is really the first time I’ve ever had any kind of surgery I guess I’m one of the people who doesn’t recover quickly. Go figure.

So yeah. Still kinda blah. Will update more as I find out what’s going on. In the mean time I’ll be here, doing a whole bunch of nothing (under threat of being tied down…in a not so fun way).
