Just..
Yeah.
Whatever.
delicarose made a beautiful post today. In light of that, I’m taking my negative, frustrated, and generally over it post and shoving it right back up my ass.
Thank you, move along.

So it’s pretty much a done deal – We’re going to be at Dragon*Con this year. As such, I’m already geeking out and excited over some of the guest that have been confirmed on the D*C web site.
Mira Furlan – Delenn from Babylon 5 (and apparently she’s on, or was on, Lost too)
Stephen Furst – Vir Kodo from Babylon 5 (and Flounder from Animal House)
Traci Lords – Hottie. I think she does some Sci-Fi stuff, too.
Erin Moran – Joanie, baby! Happy Days are here again!
Peter David – Always a blast.
And, of course, the Cruxshadows.
Yay!
So today I got to have my first of what will probably be many lunches with etcet now that he’s working with us. And as if his nerves weren’t edgy enough in the new job, our CEO and COO came to the same restaurant as us and he got to meet them.
Good times!
Of course, now I want a nap. Mmm…Sweet Tomatoes goodness.
Oh..and he’s over here showing pictures from his Digital Discipline site to our security guy.
Yeah, this is going to definitely further my legend around here…heheheh…
Many folks who were there have already written about the show, so I’m not going to clutter up your friends lists with another huge review.
I’ll put it very simply – It sucked donkey balls.
The company was great. The food at the House of Blues was great. Other than that, it was a lame assed experience and I’m almost sorry I went. I can at least say I’ve seen them, but being as how that’s the only time I’ve ever seen them I have no positive experiences to compare it to.
Pretty much the worst concert I’ve ever been to. Yes, that means that Guns and Fucking Roses put on a better show.
maladr1n – Got your shirt.

Ok..
I’ve never been angry about a weight loss. Not in the entire five years I’ve been on program. Every time I’ve gained big, I knew I was going to. Every time I’ve been disappointedly after a week of staying on program, I’ve rolled with it. But this?
I’m pissed.
It’s irrational. I’m sure that, next week, it will even itself out to some degree…but this is infuriating. I was on program ALL WEEK. I didn’t fudge at all. I tracked everything. I exercised every day. I drank my water. I didn’t give in to temptation at Applebees when the boys had an extra cheese stick. This week was a picture perfect Weight Watchers week…and I gained almost five pounds.
I’ve been exercising harder this week, and I didn’t get a lot of water in today before weigh in. Maybe that’s it. Maybe. But still….it’s a hard pill to swallow, and I’m not doing so well.
I’ve got to keep my focus…and I will…but damn.

I can do this.
Happy Birthday, aishlynn
The correct one this time!
Plot summation of the current Spider-Man story arc.
And I thought the clone story arc was bad.
Jebus.
Spikes from his wrists??
Iron-Spider??
FLYING???
Very, very thankful I’m not buying comics at the moment. AND that at the very least there’s Ultimate Spider-Man.
Sheesh.
Bwahah…now that’s a video game…
In other news…J. and I are both sick. Some kind of stomach flu or something. I’d say it was dinner last night, but it doesn’t seem to have affected K. (and if anyone is going to get an upset stomach from food around here, it’s her). Was tossing and turning until 4:30 AM this morning, freezing and uncomfortable, until I finally heaved and turned on the heat.
Lovely, innit?
And on that note, I’m going to go lay down for an hour or so.
So, prynne posted a link to a celebrity face recognition web site, and being the curious (and egotistic) guy I am I entered myself.

And this is how we wait in the queue for Warcraft…
